Jessica's POV; Everything in this place sucks, but him.

Tanner kissed the top of her head and closed her eyes, his arms wrapped around her as he took in her scent and listened to her. He loved the sound of her voice, he loved her accent as well.

The way she said certain words, her inflection, her habits, all of it. He loved it when she spoke, so he would always listen to her. I loved it when she spoke while they made love, when she'd say his name. He loved truly everything about her, even the things he didn't like about her he still loved, if that could make any sense at all.

She wasn't perfect, and he knew that. He didn't expect her to be perfect, but to him she was the closest thing to perfect he'd ever seen or met, and although he said that a lot it did mean a lot as well. He was picky with people, he was picky with who he decided to devote his time too.

He could be selfish at times, but not when it came to Jessica. She was the light of his world, the jewel to complete the vast treasure of his love. No amount of currency of any form would be enough to buy him away from her, no number existed large enough to encompass how much he cared for her, and there was no space large enough other than his heart that would be able to contain the love he lied for her.

"...And if I don't make it out you have to be good and exist for me too, Jess." He spoke softly with a smile. He didn't want to go down that road but he had an eerie feeling his death was near, he hoped he was wrong, but he wanted to make it clear that she was not to harm herself if he were to die.

"You are the most amazing person I've ever met and if something were to happen to me, I wouldn't want you to risk your beautiful self trying to rescue me, and I wouldn't want you to harm yourself." He slowly opened his eyes, looking at her as he pulled her closer and nuzzled into her hair

"Well, you can ask me to exist for you, but you can't make me not try too save you" She gave him a serious glare, looking into his eyes. Slowly, her fingers trailed down his face as she tilted her head. "But, when we get out of here, I am going to Andy and fessing up. Offer my protection so I don't feel like shit." She sighed and shook her head. "It's the right thing too do"

Smiling a bit, she moved her hand down and held his, clasping her fingers between his. "I wanna change the vows. From "Until death do us apart, to 'As long as we both shall exist." Jessica laughed lightly. "Because, I'm kinda already dead."

Her head moved to his chest as she listened to his heart beat. She wasn't going to lie, she wished hers still did. She wished that she could give him everything. Babies, eat dinner with him like a normal person, go out in the sun with him. Well, technically she could do the sunlight, she just needed to find another Fae. "We have a wedding too plan, so let's home this shit hurries up"

He chuckled and smiled. She was stubborn, but he liked that sometimes. "I don't want you in danger, Jess... but even if I made you agree with me I know you'd still come and try to save me, a and I love that about you." He knew he wasn't going to win that argument anyway. She cared for him, and if he were to be saved by anyone he'd choose her any day... or night, as it were.

He rubbed down her back and back up, caressing it in a caring way. He knew he would have to go again before the guards got suspicious. "...I understand." He said in response to her comment about Andy. "It's the right thing to do. I hope he'll understand it was an accident... you had no control, don't blame yourself." He pecked her on the cheek again and smiled a bit, looking into her eyes.

"The marriage will be amazing, even if it was held in an alley and we were married by a hobo in exchange for booze, the fact that I'm with you is what matters." He smiled again and nuzzled her, giving her an 'Eskimo kiss'. "...I've gotta get going soon, but I'll stay a bit longer. I don't want to let go of you but the guards might get suspicious, plus I gotta tell your buddies not to drink the tru-blood."

" Damn straight" She smiled and opened her eyes, glancing around the room. She knew that they'd come soon for her...for both of them. She kissed him softly and returned the eskimo kiss. "Well..A hobo ain't gonna marry us so don't worry" She laughed a bit and hopped up and pulled on her "prison uniform".

Walking around the table, she grabbed his clothes off the floor and tossed them to him. "We have a little time, but I don't want the guards seeing my ya know..or your junk" She laughed and sat on the table, watching him getting dressed. She meant it, it was for her eyes only.

When he was done getting dressed, she pushed him in a chair and sat in his lap, wrapping her arms around his neck. "Give it time. Happy thoughts until we are out of here. Also, don't stop fighting. Anything happens, shift." She kissed his nose and bit into her wrist and put it up to his mouth. "I know this isn't somethin' I'd usually do. I'm only druggin' you up just in case. This should help you..I know you're strong but this will help" She looked into his eyes hopeful. "Please.."

He watched her get up and get dressed, smirking a bit as he took one last long look up and down her naked body. He was sexually attracted to her as well as in love with her, but it was more than just 'sexy' when he saw her naked. She would undress for him and bear everything to him, and the meaning behind that meant a lot to him. It was more than just sex and more than just lust. It was passion and love, and the fact that she would show her beautiful body and the fact that she trusted him made him happy.

His stood up and took his clothes, catching them as she tossed them. "Thanks." He smiled as he began getting dressed. He smirked and shook his head with a chuckle at what she had said about their 'junk'. "Good, cause I don't want anyone seeing your naked body but me." He tilted his head as she walked towards him and pushed him into the chair. He bit his lip a bit as she sat in his lap. He liked it when she'd push him into a chair or onto the bed then sit in his lap. It was one of the few more normal things she did often that drove him wild.

He pursed his lips as she bit into her arm and held it to him. He listened to her with a concerned look on her face. "...Jess you don't gotta-" He stopped and sighed, resting a hand on her side and the other on her shoulder, leaning forward and pulling her arm closer to his mouth. "Fine, but promise me you'll stay safe. Don't get into any trouble, if they ask you to fuck again, just... do what... you gotta...." His words slowed down as he stared at the blood coming from her wrist, taking a deep breath, closing his eyes and grabbing it, pushing it against his mouth and sucking hard, taking in her blood, his eyes widening and rolling back.

She cringed a bit as he lapped up the blood. Her other arm was around his neck and over his shoulder. She wouldn't just give anyone her blood to "get high" off of. Technically, she was doing this too make him stronger, not for his pleasure. He needed it and she knew it. "If we don't get out of here soon, I'll get Jason too put us back in here again" She nodded and closed her eyes, taking in his scent so she could be comforted later.

As he pulled back, the doors were kicked open by the guards. She stood up quickly and glared at them, squinting her eyes. "I love you" She mouthed too Tanner as they grabbed her arm, and pushing his back towards the door.

The guard smirked and looked towards her "Come on vamp whore. Let's get ya back to the main room, maybe give ya dinner" He cackled loudly as it took all of her power to hold back her fangs from clicking. She wanted to rip all of their heads off, especially when she was called a whore.

Jessica touched Tanner's hand and even grabbed it for a moment. Smiling at him, she was made to turn the other way. As soon as she faced the guard, her smile turned into a frown as she looked at the ground.

Looking forwards, she noticed a familiar blonde. Pam? Noticing she was buttoning up her shirt, she rose an eyebrow. The doctor walked out zipping up his pants as she rose the other eyebrow.

Walking side my side with Pam, she glanced over at her. " Did you just have sex with him?" She glanced around, trying to keep her eyes forwards, especially with a gun pointed at her back. "I did" Pam replied dryly, as usual. "How was it?" Jessica perked up curious. " Boozy, but productive" Again, Pam replied. Jessica just shrugged and nodded as they were both escorted back to Gen Pop.

He finally pulled himself off of her, looking at her with wide eyes, licking his lips. No doubt about it, he was probably going to be a little high... but also he would be stronger than usual, which might give him an edge. "...Thank you." He said softly, his lips slowly curving into a smirk.

"I don't plan to be here much longer. I've heard some chatter among the scientists and it sounds like they're planning something... I have to get you outta here as soon as possible." He said, sniffing the air. "...Just stay strong, I'll do my best to-" He was cut off as the guards kicked open the door and grabbed her. He lowered his brows and looked at her, seeing her mouth "I love you" he mouthed back "I love you too", then passing an intense glare towards the guard who referred to her as a 'whore'. For a brief moment his eyes filled up with rage, something he had not shown around her until now. Quickly he cracked his neck and dusted himself off, watching as they drug her away. "Get back ta work, doc." one of the remaining guards commanded as they began to pull him out. "What, only the soldiers get to have some fun with the vamps?" Tanner said, rolling his eyes with a dirty chuckle. He was a horrible actor when it came to the stage. He was kicked out of drama class in high school, but when he was out in the field, acting out a role like this, he virtually could win an Oscar.

He pulled his arms out of the guards' grips and began walking out, heading back to one of the labs, quickly jotting down "Don't drink the Tru-Blood. It's poisoned." onto a piece of paper, searching records and finding an inmate who looked to him like what Jessica would refer to as a 'hippie' with long hair. He called James in and did some of the usual, taking his blood and acting like he knew what he was doing. "When in Rome, do as Romans do." He thought to himself, finishing up and turning, slipping the note into James' breast pocket. "What's this?" James said, raising an eyebrow. Tanner motioned towards the door as a guard opened it, waiting to 'escort' James back to Gen pop.

"Get outta here, vamper." Tanner said, trying again to act like he was one of the asshole vampire-hating bastards that he was pretending to be. He wrote some things down before turning and exiting, carrying a clipboard and looking at it, holding his pin studiously to look as if he was actually doing something. He walked through the halls, searching for structural weakness or methods of escape. "We could probably get out with one of those trucks... I'd need to loot a lab coat for Jess... but I think this might just be crazy enough to work." He thought to himself.

He kept walking, only to be suddenly grabbed by two guards and pulled into a storage room, with one guard standing in front of him. "Ya think you're so clever trickin us?" Growled the soldier in front of him, holding a knife out. "I knew you seemed suspicious, 'Doctor'. We aren't as dumb as ya think, and we know you're little alias is a fake. Now tell us what you were doin with that vamper. We know you were doin more than just fuckin her." Tanner stood there, held down by two guards. He erased all emotion from his face other than the simple casual look of being unimpressed.
He knew it was too late to try and lie and finagle, his cover was blown. Without another moment passing, the turned, ducking and escaping the hold of the guards, grabbing one by the head and delivering a knee to the sternum, then twisting his arm behind his back and kicking out his knee from behind, delivering a jab to the temple and disabling the first guard. He jumped back and went into a stance. "I'm gonna kick your ass, and then yours." He smirked and pointed to each of the guards. "I can take them both. I've handled worse." He thought to himself... only to be whacked in the back of the head by a fourth guard who heard the commotion, thus being knocked out.

He woke up in a cell, chained to the ceiling and anchored to the floor, dressed only in his pants. "Welllll shit." He groaned to himself. He had been discovered and captured, and now he was probably going to be tortured for information. He had been in this situation before. "It was a good run while it lasted." He said, glancing around the dark room as a soldier walked in. Tanner just raised his eyebrows and smiled at the man. "Howdy." He knew he was about to be interrogated and tortured... and he was. After his cunning plan failed, he knew Jessica's fate would be up to Bill and the others. He hoped and again prayed that she would be saved. Throughout the whipping, beating, shocking, water boarding and other tortures they inflicted on him he endured it, not revealing who he was or what his intentions were, simply sticking to repeating the same line, every time they'd ask him anything. "I am Captain Jean-Luc Picard of the U.S.S. Enterprise." Followed by a full smile and a chuckle, and he would do so until he could either find a way to escape or was rescued... He could only hope that Jessica was alright.
